CUBICLE FARM |
Synopsis
Debt collector Doug spends his days in a tiny cubicle placing outbound calls and wrangling with customers to make payments. His cube is small. Very small. One day Doug discovers that although he can leave his cube, he doesn't seem able to leave the building. Reviews "Remember those everyday horrors I was talking about before? Well, R. B. Payne pulls that off beautifully with "Cubicle Farm," where the all too familiar hell of office drudgery is examined with wonderful results." -- Horror World (Brian Sammons), www.horrorworld.org "... you're dealing with realities much like our own but composed of molecules that are just a tick lacking in symmetry. Life as we know it is just a bit askew. For instance, there's R. B. Payne's "Cubicle Farm," wherein the poor wretch of a call center drudge has one of those days, but without apparent end." -- Hellnotes, www.hellnotes.com |
